July 28th – EPMD release their classic fourth album, “Business Never Personal”, on Def Jam Records, on this day in 1992.

“Business Never Personal” was produced by Charlie Marotta, Mr. Bozack, the group’s DJ, Scratch, as well as EPMD.

Das EFX would guest on the album cut “Cummin’ At Cha”

“Business Never Personal” featured the hit single “Head Banger”, featuring Redman and K-Solo.

EPMD also continued their tradition of sampling Zapp records as evidenced on the album’s lead single as well as the group’s biggest hit ever “Crossover”.
