December 20 – NFL legend Deion Sanders releases his debut album, “Prime Time”, on MC Hammer’s Bust It Records, 20 years ago, on this day in 1994.

The album was produced in its entirety by Dallas Austin.

“Prime Time” produced the single, “Must Be The Money”.

The album’s title was a reference to the nickname Sanders was given by the media.

Sanders, who at the time was playing for the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers, was a member of MLB’s Cincinnati Reds at the time as well.
