June 3rd – Samuel Goldwyn Company Films releases the rap mockumentary “Fear Of A Black Hat” in U.S. theaters on this day in 1994.

Rusty Cundieff produced, directed and starred in the film whose title was a play on Public Enemy’s 1990 album “Fear Of A Black Planet” and whose plot was similar to that of “CB4”, another rap satirical film who also like “Fear Of A Black Hat” used a group loosely based on N.W.A. as it’s controversial protagonists.
