August 2nd – Chuck D of Public Enemy releases his second solo album “Don’t Rhyme For The Sake Of Riddlin’” on Slam Jamz Records, on this day in 2010.

His fellow Public Enemy member Professor Griff appears on the album as does his fellow Confrontation Camp member Kyle “Ice” Jason.
Other guests included Heet Mob, Jahi, Fine Arts Militia and longtime Strong Island musical soldier Johnny “Juice” Rosado.

The album was released the day after my 50th birthday.

Some of the titles on “Don’t Rhyme For The Sake Of Riddlin’” included “I Rap Black”, “I Hate Hate”, “This Bit Of Earth” and “Tear Down That Wall.”
