July 21st – “We’re All In The Same Gang” by The West Coast All-Stars goes to the top of Billboard’s Rap Chart on this day in 1991.

The anti-gang violence anthem was produced by Dr. Dre and featured some of the biggest names in West Coast hip-hop including, Ice-T, Tone Loc, Young MC, Digital Underground, MC Hammer, J.J. Fad, Above The Law, Def Jef, Eazy-E and MC Ren of NWA as well as several others.
