August 7th – Jadakiss of The L.O.X. releases his debut solo album “Kiss The Game Goodbye” on Ruff Ryders Records on this day in 2001.

Guests on the set included Nas , Nate Dogg , Pharell , Carl Thomas , Ann Nesby , formerly of The Sounds Of Blackness and DMX. Swizz Beatz , Timbaland , DJ Premier , Just Blaze , Eric McCaine , Mahogany , The Neptunes , Alchemist , Wayne-O , Fiend , Mas , Rated R , Icepick , Grimy , P.K. and Sheek handled production duties on Jada’s first solo set.

Jadakiss would now become a member of the Ruff Ryders collective.
