April 11th – Proof of D-12 and solo fame was shot to death in a nightclub on 8 Mile Road in Detroit, Michigan, on this day in 2006.

Proof, who was born DeShaun Dupree Holton, was a childhood friend of Eminem`s and was portrayed by Mekhi Phifer in the 2002 Universal Pictures semi-autobiographical film “8 Mile”, loosely based on Eminem`s life.
