April 9th – Bronx native Chino XL’s debut album “Here To Save You All” was released on American Recordings, on this day in 1996.

“Here To Save You All” was produced by B-Wiz, Kutmasta Kurt, Bird, DJ Homicide, Eric Romero and Dan Charnas.

“Here To Save You All” featured guest appearances by Kool Keith of the legendary Ultramagnetic MC’s and Ras Kass.

“Here To Save You All” contained the underground cult classic “Riiiot” as well as the singles; “Kreep”, “Thousands”, “Rise” and “No Complex.”
