April 4th – Jay-Z and r’n’b diva and longtime girlfriend Beyonce Knowles were married in a private ceremony in New York City, on this day in 2008.

The secretive wedding was attended by a few of Jay-Z and Beyonce’s close family members and friends.

Guests included Kanye West, Diddy, Chris Martin, Beyonce’s sister, singer Solange and her former Destiny’s Child co-horts Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland.
