This week on The Library with TIm Einenkel, Brooklyn MC, Skyzoo drops by to talk sneakers, gentrification, and his latest album, Music For My Friends. Skyzoo tells Tim:
"What makes people want to purchase? What makes people want to say, I know I can stream it legally, or I know I can download it illegally. But what makes me want to give Skyzoo or whoever else $9.99 for an album....This what makes it worth it. It's going to continue serve you after the fact. People buy an album, they listen to it once or twice and they figure it out. Because it was didn't hold a value; it didn't hold the weight...With my music I try to make it were it continues to serve you. Maybe a couple of months later, maybe a year, maybe 5 years, you're still finding things in it."
