Hip-Hop Queenz

This segment of Hip-Hop Queenz features a Canada native, Eternia. Her first full-length album "It's Called Life" released in 2005 and was nominated for Rap Recording of the Year at the 2006 Juno Awards. In 2010, Eternia released "At Last" with producer Moss, and was named as a longlisted nominee for the 2011 Polaris Music Prize. Raven reminisces about seeing Eternia at the beginning of her career rocking her signature T-Shirt that read, "My Favorite Rapper Wears a Skirt," and how Eternia was the perfect advocate for herself as a female rapper, and for women rappers everywhere. DJ Blakghost blesses listeners with a joint off of "At Last," and a collabo joint called "The BBQ" featuring Lady of Rage and Rah Diggah.

"Hip-Hop Queenz" is the ultimate radio platform where women in Hip-Hop are featured. Through exclusive interviews and music, "Hip-Hop Queenz" showcases these talented women and their contributions to the culture.
