LOS ANGELES, July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning this week, some of music's most popular file sharing programs will be made available in one location at Rapstation.com's new ``Swapmeet.'' Napster, Scour, Furi, and Gnutella are all posted at the ``Swapmeet'' page for fast and simple download. Each title also has its own reviews section so visitors can decide which program best suits their individual needs.
Rapstation.com founder (and Public Enemy frontman) Chuck D has been a major proponent of file sharing, and was recently invited to discuss his position in an editorial for the New York Times, as well as on The Charlie Rose Show, MSNBC and CNN. He, along with Rapstation.com's creative team, developed the Swapmeet page to offer both tools and news to help music fans with the sharing and management of music, video, and other digital files.
